Born in Rocha, Uruguay in 1973. He studied Arts in Universidad de la República and Art Direction in Escuela de Cine de Uruguay. He directed the animated film Anina which was dubbed in Russian, French and Portuguese and received over 20 recognitions around the world. As an illustrator
he has participated in more than 50 books, his work has been selected for the Bratislava Biennale and the Bologna Book Fair Illustrator’s Exhibition. In 2019 he received the Children’s Literature Illustration Award of Uruguay in the Single Picture category.
