Tomi Ungerer

Tomi Ungerer was born in Strasbourg, France. He has lived and worked in France, United States, Canada and Ireland, illustrating children’s and adult’s books. Due to his brilliant work he was given the Hans Christian Andersen Award in 1998, among others prizes. In his work he promotes tolerance and the fight against animal abuse and rejection of war.
