Noé León

Born in 1907 in Ocaña, Colombia. He worked as a wall painter, driver and police man, and eventually became an artist. He didn’t studied in any art school but taught himself how to paint and often walked through the streets selling his works door to door. He passed away in 1978, almost blind and surrounded by his wife Rosita, their eight dogs, several cats and a bunch of parrots.
