Ivonne Rivas

Has a degree in Literature from the Universidad Central de Venezuela. She has carried out investigations regarding the cultural anthropology and linguistics of the ethnic Warao. The informant of the present version of the traditional warao legend, El Dueño de la Luz, is Erasmo Sánchez, an inhabitant of the Winika river in the eastern Delta.
