Sydney Smith
He lives in Toronto, Canada. He has illustrated several children’s books, including The White Cat and the Monk and Footpath Flowers, which was selected as the New York Times Book of the Year and also won the Kate Greenaway Medal in 2016. With the book Pueblo frente al mar, he dazzles us with images that come and go between the bright light of the coast and the oppressive darkness in the galleries of a coal mine.
