María Elena Repiso

Born in Madrid, Spain, in 1950. Graduated from the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism at the “Universidad Central de Venezuela”, in Caracas. Since she was very young, Repiso has been illustrating newspapers and scientific publications, as well as advertising campaigns. Since the mid-eighties, Repiso focused on illustrating children´s books.
