María Antonia Ordóñez

Born in Cuba and has lived in Puerto Rico since 1961. She studied art at the Mart Mayol Academy, the Students League of Art in San Juan, at the University of Puerto Rico and at the Visual Arts School, a part of the Puerto Rican Institute of Culture. Among others, she won first prize in the Gulf literary contest in 1983. Her paintings have been exhibited in Puerto Rico.
