Margaret Atwood


The acclaimed novel writer and poet was born in Canada in 1939. She won the prestigious Prince of Asturias award because of her prolific work in literature, such as The Handmaid’s Tale, The Blind Assassin and Oryx and Crake.
She’s an activist for the human rights, gender equality and ecologic causes.
