Gary Blythe


He’s a renowned illustrator of children’s books. His first book, The Whales’ Song won in 1990 the Kate Greenaway medal. His beautiful vision, filled with emotion and detail, captured the ice grandeur of the Arctic in the picture book Ice Bear and gave chills to the readers in Bram Stoker’s Dracula by Jan Needle, among many other children illustrated stories. Nowadays, Gary lives in Wirral, England.
