María Eugenia Manrique


She was born in Caracas, Venezuela, and currently lives in Barcelona, Spain. She graduated in Fine Arts in Mexico, specializing in woodcut and engraving. He also studied oriental painting at the University of Nanjing, China, as well as Japanese calligraphy at the Nihon Shuji Kyoiku Zaidan School in Japan. She has had exhibitions in museums and galleries around the world. In 2014 she won the Oriental Painting Grand Prize at the International Exhibition of Chinese Painting and Calligraphy at the Anshan Museum in China. Author of four books on oriental art, La Caimana is her first story for children.
