Germán Machado

Was born in Montevideo, Uruguay, and currently lives in Vic, Barcelona, where he runs the specialized bookshop “El Petit Tresor”. In addition to being a bookseller, he is also a writer and cultural manager. His work includes narrative for children and adults, story books, poetry and picture books. He has received important awards and recognitions, among others, the Poetry Prize of the Association of Children and Youth Literature of Argentina (section IBBY – Argentina) in 2010.
