Fernando Krahn


Born in Santiago de Chile in 1935. Was a cartoonist and plastic artist, his works were published in Esquire, The New Yorker, The Atlantic and The Reporter. He was the co-author, along with his wife Maria de la Luz Uribe, of more than fifteen children’s books published in Spain, Venezuela and the United States. For his work he received, among other prizes, the Premi Apel Les Mestres in 1982 and the Premio Austral de la Literatura Infantil in 1986.
