Daniel Salmieri
He was born in Brooklyn, New York, in 1983. As a child he loved to draw; he grew up drawing ninja turtles, fighter planes and portraits of the New York Knicks. He graduated in Arts, specializing in illustration, and soon dedicated children’s books. His work has won important awards, such as the New York Times Editor’s Choice for the book Dragons Love Tacos, written by Adam Rubin. Daniel lives with his wife Sophia and dog Ronni in Brooklyn, where he was born and raised. Osa y Lobo is his first book as an author and illustrator.
