Antonio Skármeta

Born in Chile in 1940. He is the prize-winning author of many novels, including El Cartero de Neruda which was made into the Oscar nominated film Il Postino. His work has been translated into twenty five languages. La composición originated as a radio play that won awards in Germany and Italy. Skármeta’s most recent novel is La boda del poeta.
